One man's interpretation of the Holy Trinity:
There is only one God, but He exists in three persons:
Heavenly Father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and, the Holy Spirit.
All three persons of God are equal and have existed in all of eternity.
These three persons of God needed no other persons, but God desired a
community of people that He could love and be loved by. Therefore, God
created man -- in His own image.
Although God is one, He can be seen and perceived in His three forms.
The Heavenly Father sits on His glorious and mighty throne in Heaven.
He retains absolute power and authority over all the Earth. The Lord
Jesus Christ came from Heaven to Earth to live as a lowly servant, and He
suffered at the hands of man, died, fought Satan in Hell and won, and has
risen again into Heaven to sit at the right hand of His Heavenly Father on
His glorious and mighty throne. All praise be to God!
The Holy Spirit reigns over all the Earth, listening to us and communicating
to us the thoughts of the Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
God is what He is. Man cannot change that. We can only attempt to
understand it. From man's point of view, God must exist in three persons
in order that Jesus (equally God) could die for our sins while the Heavenly
Father retained absolute authority over all creation, including Satan (see
right-hand column).
It is also wonderful what Jesus showed us in His everlasting love and
worship of His (and our) Heavenly Father. Just as children love their
parents and parents love their children, Jesus love His Heavenly Father
and the Heavenly Father loved Him (and us).
With Jesus' return to Heaven, He promised us that He would send another
helper to guide us in life on Earth. This third person of the Holy Trinity is
the Holy Spirit. All we know about the Lord God Almighty has been
communicated to us by the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord!
Another Description of the Holy Trinity:
The three personages of our Lord God can be likened to a man who is
a friend to the community, a husband, a father, and a businessman,
laborer or farmer. He is one person, but with many roles in the family
and community.
